Why is “be consistent” one of Nordic Walking Guy’s 3 rules? An article described what happens to you when you lay off the exercise for a period of time.

Main point: “…we become “unfit” much faster than it took us to actually get in shape.”

More about it:

  • We lose aerobic capacity because “for the average person, V02 max falls sharply, back to pre-training levels, in less than eight weeks.”
  • We also lose strength because “in the average person, 12 weeks without training causes a significant decrease in the amount of weight we can lift.”
