We’re always thinking about life change resolutions for the new year, so here’s an older video about a Mayo Clinic study addressing a common resolution – losing weight.

Main point: The focus is more about being healthy rather than appearance. This is fueled by intrinsic motivation (doing it for myself) rather than extrinsic motivation (doing it to look good to others).

  • The study claimed there was a global post-pandemic trend of people being more concerned about health and wellness.

    • Such activities might require more time and resources.
